Avionics Engineering supports the fleet of A300, 747, 757, 767, and MD-11 cargo aircraft and more by maintaining airworthiness and regulatory compliance as required by the FAA. Aircraft Engineering position requires experience in aircraft avionic systems, federal regulations, development of modifications/repairs, project planning, and project management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, aircraft configuration management, certification approvals, airworthiness directives, data analysis, project development and implementation, and oversight of aircraft/component reliability solutions, repairs, and modifications. Ideal candidates for positions will possess the following desired skills and qualifications:
Strong electrical aptitude
Hands-on approach to projects
Ability to multi-task
Ability to demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
Minimum of three 3 to 10 years experience of aviation industry related engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering required. Applicant should be computer literate in basic office software, have CAD experience, and have good mechanical background with aptitude to hands-on projects.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations (14CFR25) associated with structural repairs.
Applicant should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate a positive attitude, and have the ability to work well with others at all levels within Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering.
