INSIDE SALES OF SWITCHGEAR AND ELECTRICAL PARTS AND LIGHTING TO CONTRACTORS WHOLESALE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY BRANCH

Responsible for responding to customer inquiries, closing profitable sales orders, and processing orders received. Responsibility includes reviewing orders received to ensure customer needs are met, following through on commitments of delivery of product or information required, and proper communication of information to customers





Primary Duties:

* Help customers determine the right Electrical Parts to meet THE CONTRACTORS needs.
*Sell products and services, offer add-on and up-sell products that may benefit the customer, and suggest alternative products when a customer requested product is not available.
*Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of the company.
*sell at profitable levels.
*Reach sales and gross margin goals.
*Create and maintain solid, long-term relationships with customers.
*Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems in a prompt and professional manner.
*Work with Purchasing Department, account managers, quotations specialists, product champions, and other branch personnel to provide competitive quotations.
*Attend sales, product, and other branch/company meetings.
Expedite customer orders through the Purchasing Department.
Maintain a current library of reference material.
*Interact with branch personnel to exchange customer needs information.
*Back up and support warehouse personnel, as necessary.
*Issue Return Goods Requests (RGR) to customers to expedite product returns.
Maintain knowledge of products and their applications. Know major competitor product lines.
•Document lost sales and customer comments in order system.
•Perform proactive telesales to customers assigned by branch or district manager.
•Stay abreast of current and new products and the location of the inventory within the facility.
•Check merchandise in against receiving ticket.

Drive company trucks when necessary and schedule deliveries while notifying management of any delays in the delivery schedule.
Responsible for assisting and assembling product for receiving, storing, shipping, and control of materials in inventory or being sold.
Prepare return tickets or warranty materials and record damage of faulty material.
•Assist at counter with customers when necessary.

Report out-of-stock items to warehouse manager.
*Help maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
Strong English communication skills and the ability to understand the customers' needs.
All interested candidates should be self motivated, sales oriented, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

REQUIREMENTS :
Inside, and counter Sales and Warehouse experience plus a College Degree preferred , GED and or previous experience .
*Good people skills. "The customer is always right" attitude. "keep a thick skin"
*Individuals with SWITCHGEAR AND ELECTRICAL PARTS DISTRIBUTION BACKGROUNDS AND experience will be the best candidates for this position.

*Strong English communication skills and the ability to understand the customers' needs.
Spanish as a second language is a PLUS.
COMPENSATION: WITH PROFIT SHARING YOU CAN MAKE UP TO TOTAL COMPENSATION OF SIX FIGURES PLUS BASED ON PERFORMANCE COMMISSIONS BONUSES PROFIT SHARING ETC
