Our client is a Forbes privately owned Top 100 Company and is also the largest solar distributor in the USA. They also have locations in Europe and the Caribbean. They are expanding at rockets pace and growing in leaps and bounds. The Team

The Supply Chain team provides the company with the resources necessary to execute on its mission. This includes sourcing the supply of materials and services required to build solar systems and operate the business; facilitating inbound and outbound movement of materials; and managing timely delivery of materials and services to their customers (Installers) including retail, commercial and utility customers.

The Opportunity

As a  Operations Manager you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the team to ensure timely purchase of goods and services for the business. This is a highly collaborative role that will require you to work closely with the operations team to understand their needs and execute purchases accordingly.
    • Prioritize and address installers requests in a timely manner
    • Organize and maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records
    • Execute tasks efficiently while emphasizing diligence. Maintain flexibility throughout the day to align with changing priorities
    • Communicate status of tasks with the team frequently to highlight blockers or issues affecting scheduled delivery dates
    • 5+ years of experience in purchasing procurement and supply chain.
    • Must possess the appropriate level of skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of employees and suppliers.
    • Required experiences to include Negotiation, Project Management, Cost analysis, Financial Analysis, and Contracting Experience
    • Computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations).
    • Effective communication, presentation, and people skills.
    • Possess the potential to advance to higher purchasing positions
